Richard A. Nash, MD
Dr. Nash is a full member of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and a professor of medicine at the University of Washington. He is a specialist in both hematology and oncology, with a special interest and experience in hematopoietic cell transplantation.
His professional affiliations and memberships are with the American Board of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation. He is on national committees concerned with hematopoietic cell transplantation, including as a member of the Acute Graft-Versus-Host-Disease Committee of the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Clinical Trials Network and co-chair of the Autoimmune Disease Working Committee at the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research.
Dr. Nash has published more than 140 articles, including 95 research articles and reviews or chapters on hematopoietic cell transplantation and autoimmune diseases. Dr. Nash’s areas of research interest include the use of hematopoietic cell transplantation for treatment of autoimmune diseases and tolerance induction to allogeneic grafts.
